Floating high above the battle lines, the Sky Lantern serves as an observation post, command platform, and engine of war from which Cathayan officers can watch the enemy below. GRAND CATHAY: SKY LANTERN builds an imposing multipart plastic war machine for Armies of Grand Cathay in Warhammer: The Old World.

What battlefield role can the GRAND CATHAY: SKY LANTERN fulfil? Depending on its equipment, it can be configured as airborne ranged artillery or a bomb-dropping platform. Its crew can wield Sky Lantern Crane Guns, while alternative options include iron hail guns, gunpowder bombs, and dragon fire bombs.

The kit also includes a Magistrate who can be stationed aboard the Sky Lantern or assembled separately on foot. An optional rack for Sky Lantern bombs can be added to the gondola, giving you further freedom to customise the appearance and equipment of your floating war machine.

With its unusual silhouette, the GRAND CATHAY: SKY LANTERN can become a striking centrepiece for a Grand Cathay collection. Whether observing enemy movements, directing the fire of war machines, or attacking from above, this remarkable creation embodies the ingenuity of the Celestial Dragon's armies.

The miniatures and war machine require assembly and painting.
