Warhammer Colour Dry paints are specifically designed for the drybrushing technique. The purpose of drybrushing is to lightly paint only the raised areas of a miniature or specific details, helping to create brighter tones and stronger highlights. Dry paints contain a very high level of pigment, giving them a thicker consistency than regular acrylic paints, which makes them ideal for drybrushing techniques. Can these paints be used for other painting techniques as well? Not really, as Dry paints were developed specifically for a single painting method and do not have the smooth, liquid consistency of standard acrylic paints.
